A

Lottery Canvasser for Charity

is someone who helps raise funds for a charitable organization by encouraging people to sign up for a charity lottery. Their main job is to talk to potential supporters - often going door-to-door or speaking to people in public places - and explain how the lottery works.

By participating in the lottery, people not only get a chance to win prizes but also support a good cause. The canvasser answers questions, provides information about the charity, and helps people sign up as members.

It’s a role that requires good communication skills, a friendly attitude, and the ability to inspire people to contribute to a meaningful cause. Training will be provided.

Having your own transport is essential as you will be canvassing across Lancaster with occasional travel to Burrow in Furness. Mileage for this travel will be covered.

Successful candidates will undergo pre-employment checks, such as Right to Work, Driver’s License and DBS.
